Frame Clearance?
« on: January 15, 2013, 02:47:19 pm »
I've looked and I can't seem to find what I was looking for. What is the average frame clearance from the ground on the bando?

Frank,

I have heard anything from 2" - 2 3/8" on left rear and up to 3 3/8" on the right rear. I don't have too much info on ride heights.
I know they try to keep the nose as low as possible.
You have to remember that the Bando cars have a go kart type set up in the front. Shocks and springs are only in the rear.
Don't know if that helps you, but I don't really have a good answer for you.

Thanks Steve that's close enough. My car has 2 3/4" ride height  and its a pain to load.

 New car  ;D

Gotta get a bender to make it happen. Sure can't find a used manual tubing bender.
