Thread Sizes?
« on: April 01, 2013, 05:22:18 pm »
Does anyone know what the thread sizes are for the Banjo fitting on the clutch slave cylinder and the clutch master cylinder?

Thanks

There are more than one size out there for them both.

My notes say the banjo bolt is 10mm x 1.25.

The clutch master I use takes a 10mm x 1.0 to AN3 adapter, but I don't use the one USLC sells.

Matt, do you run sanctioned? According to the rulebook:

The clutch master cylinder must remain stock, within the stock dimensions, location and configurations as currently delivered by U.S. Legend Cars International. The clutch master cylinder and reservoir must remain on the engine side of the firewall. No aftermarket clutch master cylinders are permitted. The clutch pedal may be shortened for driver comfort.

Yes, I do.  I run the same clutch master as Dennis.  Its shorter than the USLC one, so it makes engine removal/install easier.  Since Dennis uses it, I figured it was ok.  Never got clearance from Scott specifically, but there's never been a question either.
