Since you did not fill out your profile, I have no idea what track(s) you run. Some tracks require a certain fuel, bought (usually) from a station near the track. Other tracks only go by what the rule specs allow. Still, other track allow racing fuels. Depends on the track, the tech, and how fussy they are about the rules. On average, a 98 octane fuel will do the job (depending on your jetting). Do a quick search on the site for fuel. There are a few threads dealing with the subject.

As to specific fuel you allowed to run at those tracks, I will leave to those who run those tracks to answer.
I know that some of the National Races and some of the tracks require you to buy fuel from a station near the track.

I also have a HSR 1200 and use MS98 for fuel but I run dirt tracks in Wisconsin.

MS98 is not worth the money in my opinion. I run straight 91 or 93

run any fuel as long as it doesn't have ethanol in it. That is if your track will let you. That stuff is the devil.

With two rounds of practice ( 10-12 laps), European qualifying (5 laps) and 30 lap main with yellows. I will burn somewhere between 3 to 4.5 gallons in a night.

We've run 91-93 (no ethanol, at least the pump sticker still says no ethanol) from BP stations last few years. Best bang for your buck for our motors.

We ran 50 laps and still had a lot of fuel left. I did go out with filled to the very top though. I also run the red steel fuel cell and it holds a little more than the new tanks.
