USLC Thank you call

Received a personal phone call from USLC this afternoon thanking me for my continued participation in Legends car racing, and wishing me luck this season! That was a first, very classy on their part I thought!!

I take it you applied for an Inex Lic. in 2013? They should be making courtesy calls to all applicants this year, it is a good thing. I believe jimmy Baker is making most of the calls, he is a goood guy!

That is pretty cool.  I first met Jimmy last year when we went to their Legends school, and I stop by USLC whenever I'm in or passing through Charlotte.  He's definitely a straight shooter and a class act.  We need more people like him in racing.

Got my USLC call from Jimmy Baker today....He was very courteous and thanked me several times for my participation in this series.   He also was open to some feedback on the series as a whole.  Very nice...

Thats great, but they should also call the people who HAD a license and are not getting one for the next year.  They would find out ALOT more about the "state  of the sport" than asking the people who already sent in the check.

I agree with you. I am hopeful that things are changing and management is finally getting better.
Must admit that there are some people within the old 600 Racing, USLC and INEX that do give at least some thought to the Legends, Bandos and Thunder Cars people.
I am also hopeful that these changes will be for the better.
