Trailer floor paint! Today
«

Ok, It is about 60 degrees in Maryland in January and I'm going out to work on my trailer. I need some advice on what kind of paint to do the floor in. If someone has done it something else I'm all ears. I don't want to break the bank on this project but need to do something to it. Any ideas? Thanks

Scott,
We used gray deck paint with the anti-skid (sand) that we got from Walmart. we redo it every couple years. Really cheap, but lasts.

I went with deck/porch paint with grit. It turned out really nice but have no idea how long it will last. It does what I want for now and stops oil and such from getting in my wood. Thanks

I used the exact same stuff, but I painted right before putting the trailer up for the winter. Hope it lasts well, if not I can just recoat. The grit did seem nice, no worrying about the floor getting slick when wet.

The grit will wear out eventually, but the paint says. as above, I usually recoat after about 2 years. Got 2 trailer and have been doing both that for about 7 years.
