Oil pan and steering coloum
« on: January 08, 2013, 01:25:32 pm »
Hi, I just put a 1250 in my car in place of a 1200 and the engine fits fine in the mounts etc as you expect, however there is a small fin that hangs down from the oil pan on the 1250 that looks like its coming into contact or very close! With the steering coloum, does anyone if this fin serves any purpose or can it be shaved down a little to clear the coloum or does the coloum need adjusting? I don't see how I could move the coloum however

Serves no purpose....Just shave it down to clear steering column.
