Tony,

Glad you finally got a race in. Weather has been crazy!
Is the car running well for you?

Car ran great! In my heat I was loose and spun once, but Scott helped me with some air pressure adjustments and the car really handled a lot better. Was getting pretty comfortable in it. Cannot wait for the next race!

Ended up with an 8th place finish, which, as the night was, I'm happy with.
Got wrecked in my heat race.
Started 16th of 20 in the main with no brakes whatsoever.
Was up to 5th with 5 to go when I lost the left side bodywork hitting a rut...got sent to the back for causing a yellow flag for debris.
Made it back up to 8th.

Looking forward to 2 races next weekend

Started 4th in heat race and was leading to take the white flag and hit fluid in turn 3 and spun out....finished 3rd.

Started 3rd in the A-Main and finished 13th....could not get a handle on the front end..... was loose getting the corners.

Hopefully we will race next weekend, but the weather forecast as of now isn't looking too great.

Tony,

Look forward to watching your progress.

Jim,

Maybe it is just fresh paint.
Good finish though!

Scott,

Good finish in your heat (all things considered). Could have been a lot worse.
As the season is just getting going, look forward to better results next race.

Our first race did not go as we hoped.  Made the best of it.
Had some issues with our new car. I think we got it all worked out.

Time trialed a disappointing 19th out of 36.  27 is our starting field size at Riverhead raceway.

Started 19th and just rode around.  Car was on the way tight side just could not get my car to turn!!!

We only had 1 caution flag in our 20 lap race.

Brought it home a safe 15th.

Looking for better results this week.

Safe is good! At least you and car came home in one piece. Look forward to results from next race!

Best Wishes!

Richie do they send cars home or do they let the non timers run their own race?

Unfortunately they send them home.  When there is time trial races there is not much track time which is the big complaint.
They will not give us a b-main because of the nascar program.  Our track also has a 11pm ordinance.

We get 3 practices time permitting and a 8 lap heat unless TT race.  they break us up in to 3 heats.

Season is really starting to get under way. Looking forward to seeing everyones results!
Teddy Hough is getting itchy with 8 days until the start of the season.
Martin King changed the set up on his car and started using cut tires. Lap times are consistent; And he seems mostly happy with the new set up. A bit of tweaking, I think he will be just fine.
Joe Gartner is racing tonight. Bad draw on starting position. Look forward to some good news!
I think the Ross boys are already measuring their babies for seats. They look like future race car drivers to me! ;)
Jim got a lot of work done on the car and trailer. Thanks for the pic Jim!
My car is off to the welder next week.  :)
Post those results!

Steve

our season is well on its way over here in the UK
at my 4th meeting we started the day with no practice and out for heat 1 with new setup and cuts for the first time!
i felt to be verly slow and the car felt so bad i would be running last but looking at my times with the new setup and cuts i was only .100 of my best!
so i was very happy with the time and it just showed me how wrong i was about the car and the setup was working! (just me then :-))
just tweaking the setup now with steve (justfreaky) thank you steve
im of my rookie plates now and ready for my front grid start and see how we run :-)
go hard or go home

Had a great car tonight. Started 6th in my heat and ended up in the lead. Under yellow we had a big carburetor issue knocking us out of the heat. Was given a provisional for my top 10 in points last season. Started dead last 28th and worked my way up to a 13th place finish. Can't thank everyone enough for the help. Have to give the biggest thank you to my dad he went far and beyond to give me the best equipment we could get for 2013. Have to thank Jeff Jordan RPM Pro-Formance for an awesome chassis and rear end housing. Thank you to Little Race Cars for the cut tires. Also a big thank you to NoMo motorsports for all the help with suggestions and feedback. Also thank's to bud for getting me turn plates and helping me get my front end setup. Looking forward to next week as it is another time trial race.

Ritche,

Sounds like a win is comming in the near future.
I hope all the bugs are worked out by next week.

Thank you.  I feel we are very close to where we need to be setup wise.
Just some minor adjusting left to do.
