Where does he say that you can Dennis?
Yes, the stock MC is remote mount, but it was not when they were sold with the aluminum MC.
You're a dealer, get the information out to the people.
If you can run an aluminum brake master cylinder with a remote reservoir, get it in writing, and post it like I did.
The rule book says, "If this rulebook does not specifically say that
you can change/modify/add something, then
you must consider that the change/modification/
addition is illegal."
"Brake Master Cylinder - The brake master cylinder must remain stock, within the stock dimensions, location and configurations as currently delivered by U.S. Legend Cars International. The brake master cylinder must remain on the engine side of the firewall. No aftermarket brake master cylinders are permitted. Aftermarket remote reservoirs are permitted."
As delivered is not, and never was, aluminum with a remote reservoir. They are making an exception for people who still have the aluminum master cylinders with the reservoir on top so that they don't have to buy new ones. You're a dealer Dennis, make sure you are giving correct information to your potential customers.
The OP wanted to know what the part number of the legal one is, if you have it, share it with him, along with an email from Scott that it is legal with the remote reservoir.
Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but thats what I got out of it. Not that it matters to me, I'm not going to run aluminum either way.
