Questions
« on: June 13, 2012, 08:30:56 pm »
I have 2 questions. First, is there supposed to be an "O" ring in the spin on oil filter adapter? When I took it off a motor I damaged, it did not have one and when I see some adapters for sale they do not include one. I cannot find one either. Secondly, would a helmet fan be too much for the altenator if you are already running a fan for the cooler and 2 of the Turbo 3000 fans for the head?Plus radio?

Thanks,
Robert

1. I do not believe so, but dont use or sell one, so I can't say for sure.
2. I wouldn't worry about the alternator. Personally, I'd be more concerned about taking the power away from the ignition system

Robert,

I sent the link for the o-ring to you via your email request.

No concerns about the alternator. I run my car in night endurance event and run head, tail, brake and car number illumination lighting, as well as radios, fans and an onboard AMB computer for timing information.
