newbie looking for a starting set up
« on: July 07, 2012, 03:34:09 pm »
i just bought a 34 ford coupe in pieces. its all put together and trying to hit tues night practice and first race on thurs. we run on a 1/4 mile paved track with approx 2-4 degrees of banking. i`ve been looking around on here and opinions vary on set ups which i would expect for diff driver and track preferences. im looking for some base line ride heights, alignment specs, tire pressures and weight % numbers. the car has lf 300,rf 325,lr 185,rr 200 springs. seems to be the norm here. some even go 325,350 on frt. also i weigh 200 if that helps. what are your thoughts from anyone running on similar tracks. thanx in advance!! Don.
