Locking shock adjuster nut?
« on: November 24, 2007, 06:38:01 pm »
I was thinking about making some billet shock adjuster nuts that  have a split and a pinch bolt in them so you wouldn't need tape or worm clamps.

I have read the rules and don't see a no-no's there.   Anyone have any thoughts?  Anyone interested in buying some?

Tom,
 I like the idea!!!
Do the Bilstien fit the old Carerras?
If not, that gives me an interesting idea.  ???

What would you be looking at for a cost on them? Would certainly clean things up in the shock department.

I use two adjusting nut on each shock. One as a jam nut works good for me.

Steve,  I've never seen the Carrara's.

Geoff, No idea on cost at this time.

Shawn, I thought of that, and I thought of a cam-lock pinch bolt too (no tools).  I just want it simple and I want it to stay put.
