Us frozen Canadians are very jealous of you right now.  Racing?  In January?  I am trying oh so hard not to dislike you :'(

Mike ;)
If it isn't fun, why are you doing it?

VMS I spoke with my boss today, I said that the 1200 and the 1250 are the same, the only difference in the 12000 and 1250 is the rods and the pistons, maybe you have an 1099??  Any way we have a 1200 at the shop he wants 20 bucks and you pay shipping, let me know.

The plot thickens....I talked to my engine builder who is also a Legends dealer, and he said I have a 1200. The one I bought on the forum was from a 1250....Oh well, I guess I wont worry about it, I have enough other stuff to do.

Let me see a picture when you get a chance. I dont need another one that wont work, and since you said that the 1200 and 1250 are the same...I dunno.  The managing partner of my race team (i.e. my lovely, yet frugal wife) has imposed a moratorium on buying unnecessary racing parts until I get a paycheck...crazy broad, she's just mad that I keep ordering vinyl for the plotter, she doesnt understand that I may need all 20 colors. Anyway, post a picture so I know its right, and I may be able to sell my last few cases of ramen noodles to come up with the cash  ;D

All of the ignition covers are the same.

The 1250 cover uses a thicker rubber gasket and longer screws. This thicker gasket/longer screws are need for the XJ pick-up coil. The FJ pick-up coil is a low profile fully cover unit.

The FJ Pickup coil is mounted on a gold plate and the XJ pickup coil plate is silver. I have both gaskets available if you need one or the other.

But long story short, the covers are all the same; the gasket & bolts are different.
