Clutch problems

Clutch worked fine went to get in and became hard as rock check slave goes in and out fine fluid cylinder goes in and out fine last thing maybe cluch anybody else had this problem and will clutch work out of a 1200  to put in 1250 in car now know rod is different size hoping maybe something simple

There are two brackets that the slave mount to, a thick one and a thin one. The 1100 and some 1200s used the thin bracket, this rewuired the shorter rod. The thicker bracket requires the longer rod. Sounds like you have a 1250 rod and a 1200 bracket. You can either shorten the rod or change the bracket.

Haven't change rod or bracket been on motor for a year while I was curious it happened all of sudden change slave cylinder today and blew out slave cylinder blew out rubber inner gasket
