I need help with pulled stud

Has anyone tried to fix a pulled stud on a sealed 1250???

Send it to NC and have a them put a hela-coil in it.  welcome to the sealed engine program!!

Thanks I was looking for an alternative method didn't know if anyone has tried to fix one themselves

Are you talking about a head stud? If so I have a feeling that you are in trouble.

What to do?  I having a problem with my head stud too.. is it too complicated to fix it myself or do I have to pay big to have it fix? :'(

If you have an open motor, go ahead and fix it yourself. if you run a sealed motor, I believe you have to send it to USLC
