Scott,

Pretty good finish, all things considered.
Hope you get your miss figured out before next race.

Best of Luck!

Jim,

Good finish! No mention of that dreaded "W" word... Always a plus!
Hope I hear better results from tonights racing.

Everything is cancelled here due to rain.

Broke a shock on the last lap of the heat race at Angell Park and finished 4th.

Not alot of time between that and the A, but with alot of help from Mike Mueller, Jimbo Sommers, and Brandon and his crew, got the car ready to go for the A with minutes to spare.
Was a bit hard to drive since I didnt know where to set the coilover, just took a SWAG, but ended up finishing 5th.
I know I would have been further back but Brian (TeamZero) couldnt get by me, my car was so wide and out of control.
Sorry Brian, thanks for not moving me out of the way!

All in all, a good week...finally!

Congratulations Brandon on your feature wins Friday in Iowa and Saturday at Beaver Dam!

Very tough weekend.

Track was extremely rough Saturday. I never hit another car, the wall or the infield tires.

My nerf bar got pushed into the rightrear in the heat race. Smoked the tire chunked it up. Destroyed it.

Fixed the nerf bar...should have just left it off the car. Within 3 laps of the feature I could hear and feel it rubbing. Destroyed my uncles RR tire :( Quickly discovered after the race my grill snapped when the running board pulled the Rf fender back. Cracked the oil cooler. Over $450 in repairs just because track conditions.

Sunday wasn't any better. I tired to run my RR from the day before but it simply didn't work. Experiment failed lol. Just got in a racing accident off turn 4 in the feature. Broke all the RF suspension bars. Pulled the bolts out of the right side motor mount. The bolts I found with no threads. Shows how hard the hit was. Oil cooler looked ok... Got some major work to do though. The RF shock tower is twisted and pulled back.

We'll see what I do this week. I'll get it on the track just unsure how it will drive.

The car had a bad miss all day and I missed both practice rounds and never posted a speed. Finally got the miss out of the motor and qualified 10th and never set air pressure just put a lap down. Once the race started I had a good car and made a run to 6th but the lead cars were to far gone once I cleared traffic. Good night all in all.

Finished 5th at Manitowoc after being hit and spun halfway through.

Last car running I think at Beaver Dam last night. Lady luck must be sick of hanging around me.
Got to the track, starter was bad.
Went out for the heat, driveshaft adapter was loose.
Got it fixed in time for the main, and couldnt run over 7K without the engine breaking up. Just ran around at half throttle in 5th gear while people wrecked out. Found I knocked a pickup wire loose working on the driveshaft. Bad day to not have any pit help, could have been fixed under the lap 3 caution and been good to go.

Oh well, will try again next week  :)

Congratulations to Robert and Jim!
It's always a good night when you can put the car back on the trailer in one piece.
Look forward to watching progress this season.  ;)
