I was at USLC Yesterday, the rule book and membership cards were being put in envelopes for mailing. The carbon fiber is like anything else, unless they specifically start allowing specific parts you can not allow any. In other words the problem is where does it end. i understand it seems unfair to folks that have a specific part in mind, but you have o look at the big picture and do what is best for the entire membership. I made a couple of safety suggestions while at USLC this week, one was installing a welded in tab to connect the throttle cable to, the current design is not very good and could have serious consequences. The other is i believe they will be pricing having the spindle base made from A billet type material and not cast. Lastly I can tell you USLC will soon offer the Aero wheel with a guarantee on the run out, each wheel will be factory tested prior to USLC receiving them. The wheel will be a little cheaper than the Basset wheel.
