I'm not sure if it is a burnt valve this time Jim. Seems to be burning oil on all 4 cylinders. Plugs looked awful.

I had an ok weekend. Made contact with another car in the feature at Beaver Dam that knocked the RF in more than a half inch. Fell back to 10th. On the last restart with 5 to go I just jumped to the outside and realized how loose the car was but went for it. Got up to 5th.

Angell Park was not a good night for me. Heat race was a wash, finished 3rd but couldn't tell anything. In the feature the steering quickly got "gushy/sloopey"? if those are words. The car quickly became unpredictable in the turns so I backed it down. I think I finished 6th but not sure.

Great run this weekend Jim, your car was going places at Sun Prairie hooked up.

This is in Jersey. We drive like that on the turnpike :)

I think he was just saying hi to the new kid. I have no problem with anyone hitting me. They will just have to take it back.

By the way. These cars are much smoother then karting. I actually have a mean push in the car that is slowing me down. The guys keep telling me I drive way too hard into the turns. It feels natural to me though. I also need to rebuild my carb.

Not being in agonizing pain after a race is a big plus :)

I've seen that to coming from karting, If you over drive them you do have a mean push. That guy hit you so hard it lifted him off the ground. A bump is one thing but WOW, maybe its just me.

Hi Erik,

A good finish for your first race. Once you get some more seat time and get your handling situated, I think you will do just fine.
Nice looking track!
Keep us updated on your progress.

Everything seems so much more gentle then karting i guess i dont mind. I barely felt it. I have noticed the guys I race with are pretty sensitive to that stuff. We used to hit each other all the time. Kart bumpers cost 200 bucks as opposed to 20.

The guys bringing me along also think I am gonna do well once I get the hang of it. It's a lot easier to slow down then to speed up.

Yeah I love Wall Stadium. Diving into the banked turns is an awesome feeling.

Hope you feel better. Lost my mother and grandfather to cancer. It's rough but can be beat.

Think I'm pretty good on parts; But would like another set of coils and perhaps an ignition box. No hurry.
Wish I could afford some body parts.  :-[ (Need new left knee, thumb joints, etc... Rhonda says I need a new brain.... So if there is a spare laying around somewhere... LOL!)

The Gimpster has a lot of his shop packed in the trailer. I don't think he has a clue as to what all he packed in there.
