Off to be jigged next Saturday, reassemble the car for the following month with then a shakedown, then chassis being setup and then racing all in 2 weeks.

First race for me 2nd May.

Lots to do in little time.

Still 2 bare (but welded and painted) chassis for me.
No racing until May here either...looooots of time to procrastinate.
Was going to work on them today, but decided to be a Daddy instead

I've never made it to a practice yet...would like to though, especially if the new tires come in so I can see the lap time differences of everybody

Putting together a few shock and spring combos. Got a few ideas on where to start from Randy. THANKS Randy!!! I hope things are calming down a bit.
Digging out all the rear end stuff is next on the list this week, if the weather holds out.
I have some mounting brackets  to get welded on the rear end.
The donor bike engine is all ready to pull out of the frame. Taking it to my brother for a good going over.

You guys are way behind the ball here.  We've already raced twice!

Went to the Indy Speedrome last week (first time at the track) and won our heat race (our first heat win ever) and because we were new to the track we had to start the feature 17th out of 18 cars.  Finished 11th.

This past Saturday we went back to the Indy Speedrome and finished 6th in the feature.

We start our regional series this upcoming weekend with a race at Salem Speedway in Salem, IN.

Bet you wish you guys lived just a bit further south!!  :P

Was relatively warm this morning and sunny. Clouds rolled in by afternoon and now it is snowing.  :(

We start may 22nd I'm just now thinking about racing I'll have the car out of winter storage soon. It's been rebuilt the last 2 winters this season all it needs is 2 fenders and nut and bolted

We went and practiced today at seekonk speedway.  There was one other legend and 2 dwarfs.  I made about 5 or 6 runs so about 50 to 60 laps.  I found out that i don't think i have a big enough caster split and enough camber as the car got tight from center off.  I still have a lot of work to do with the driving part but was about doing the same lap times as everyone else.  I didn't spin it at all or hit anything which was also good ;D  Our first race is in 2 weeks at NHMS.  Just a quick question about a HANS.  Is there any way to adjust the sliding teathers because it seems that my helmet can move forward pretty far.  I'm not sure, i might just not be used to it.

Thanks for everyones help,
Dan
