That is the racing oil for cars. Check this thread:

People will go rounds on oil brand. Mobil puts out a good product.

Jim uses Amsoil and was doing some testing. With his rough season, I'm not sure how the testing turned out. No major engine problems though.

Are Mobil 1 Racing oils compatible with a wet clutch engine?

These oils are not recommended for wet clutch applications due to their high level of molybdenum.

The Mobile 1 Motorcycle oils ARE compatable with the wet clutch systems and do not use the molybendum.
Check out the link I posted for the motorcycle oils.

The 0w30 and 0w50 are racing oils for cars and are not compatable with the wet clutch system in motorcycle engines.

I was told by some old timer legends racers that they don't like synthetic oils because it promotes blow-by.  They use Castrol GTX 20w-50 or sometimes a semi-synthetic.  Maybe not right a way but over time they are saying engines using these oils blow-by more than non-synthetic oiled engines

Is there any other evidence that synthetic oils promote blow-by?

Everyone will always have a story to tell for or against anything. When I first started racing Legends, I was using a conventional motorcycle oil (don't remember the brand). We had a race in Sun Prairie that was pure mud. My temp gauge was pegged at 320 and the oil was burnt and black. I changed it that morning before the race. That is when I switched to Amsoil. Have never been over 220 since, even in similiar conditions. Engine had 70+ races on it when I took it out, and no problems whatsoever
