Yes, I received a check from USLCI INEX today for finishing 16th Masters at Dirt Nationals. Check is $45.00.

We've gone over this before, if you want to race for the big bucks you should be in the top class.  This has nothing to do with car count, the pro division is the top class in INEX.  Why should the beginner class get paid more than the more skilled driver class?  This should be an incentive to move up, semi pro isnt meant for veteran drivers, at least how I look at it.  You can move to the pro class at any time, or is it too hard.  Just my thoughts, I know I will ruffle some feathers but I am bored.

Racecar spelled backwards is racecar. Racecar upside down is expensive.

Jeff,
You have some valid points BUT, do you really want true semi-pro running pro just to try and get paid more. What if they do and they make a S/P move (mistake) and take out a TRUE pro? I know this is the class that we should all strive to make it to but if you’re not ready to move up then you shouldn’t. This is why we have a class system to begin with. If you are not going to pay as much then charge less entry fee or less for my license or freaking something. I know that when I pulled up the gas station to fill up my tow vehicle there was no break there either for semi pro. I could even see a little difference between classes in pay but $500. I also know it was my choice to go to the nationals and all the other blaa blaa counter to this conversation. Now you have got me all spooled up and as I step down from the soap box I only have one more thing to add for Steve. Yes I have called and written Darrel and USLC on this matter. Have a great Christmas and where is next years Nationals at………LOL

Just shut up Jeff  ;D
Darrel decides if you can go Pro or not, it doesn't matter if you want to. If you don't have the results to prove you will be competitive, you won't be Pro.
I can go both ways on this one, I think the diffference IS out of line, but don't mind some difference.
Just because you put "PRO" on your license application, doesnt mean you'll get a "P" sticker (of course I havent gotten a class sticker in 3 years, I guess I have no class?)

I got yelled at at Nationals for not having any contingency stickers at all, and they questioned my home made "S". When I told Darrel i havent gotten any stickers he told me, and I quote" Bullshit, everybody gets stickers"
Guess me and Dan are nobody...oh wait, thats right, we're dirt drivers.
Guess I better get an asphalt driver and a 3rd car

Scott

I got the checks for my kids 2nd & 3rd at the world finals; Thunder Roadsters, $200.00/150.00.

It looks like the Thunder Roadsters rate lower than the Semi-Pro division...Maybe the ZMAX monies did do the Legend cars some good.

It appears the winner was the only one to recoup his entry fee.

I can tell you that winning the 2009 Thunder Roadster national title rewarded me with $-0-, and 3ft trohpy...

About the stickers.  Coming from a Asphalt driver and first year driver I didn't get all the neccesary stickers.  Both Chris and I waited all year to get some stickers and then when we finally got some answers they told us not to worry about it....... neither of us went to nationals but if we did I can imagine we would have gotten a lot of crap.
Dirt drivers aren't the only ones US Legend Cars doesn't give a crap about.......of course we were both Semi-Pro.........maybe thats the common thread.

Chris bumped up to Pro already so I will see if he gets treated better next year.......

Me even though I suck, I still had an oppurtunity to move up to Pro..... aparently their standards are changing..........I respectfully declined figuring I should learn how to drive first.......

Just my two cents..
