racer23:
I was wondering if anyone could help me.  I need more power at take off, i can keep up with everyone once i get goin, but they all get me at takeoff, is there anything i can do to help me out of the hole... any help will be appritiated! Thanks

Magic Man:
First thing that comes to mind is gearing....Usually when you gear for top end speed you lose a bit on the take-off.....

racer23:
Thanks MagicMan, Id tought of that, but even the ones who are geared exactly the same as i am, are still faster on takeoff...

Sagermotorsports:
I don't know what gear you are running in , but let's say you run in 4th gear, try starting in third and then shifting. I had the exact same trouble at my track until I figured out that everyone was starting in third and that is why I was getting passed so much.

Brett,  This is a Bando Car. No shifting.

Quick and dirty explanation:  Going to a larger front sprocket (clutch) increases top speed. Going to a larger rear sprocket (axle) increases acceleration. Try to match your ratio so that you keep the engine in the "fat" part of the powerband curve.
