Whats up with only 5 Bando's at the Asphalt Nationals?
And 2 Thunder Roadsters?

Thats a shame

That is sad.  :'(
Bandos seem to be treated about the same as the dirt track folks.

I didn't even know that they were going to be there. Don't they have a Bando Nationals? May be that is why they didn't show.

They do have Bando Nationals. I don't recall what the dates were.

Hey, everybody!

Well, here it is October. We tried to get a bando test drive here in Minnesota all summer and into the fall. Just never came together. So, the new plan is to go someplace WARM over the winter, and visit a track where they run bandos year-round (or nearly). If anyone can give me the names/links for tracks that do this, please please please do!

In happier news, we decided to bridge the gap by taking Ted to indoor carting. He did his 'school' last weekend, and had a FABULOUS time! Said he felt like this was the 'jumping off point for the rest of my life!'. Well, then!

One more thing... we are trying to sell our pop-up camper (great shape, sleeps nine) to finance the bando. No luck, yet. We would be willing to trade, if it comes to that.

Happy evening!
Kathy H.

Got our 1st heat win of career (ended up with 5 of them) and recorded 1st career feature win as well ( ended up with 2 of those), so was a great year, met preseason goals.

Hi Kathy,

I'm glad Ted is enjoying the go karts. Let me know how he does in the league. As far as schools and/ or Bando test drives, contact Ed at Bandostuff.com. He said he would be more than happy to talk with you about dates and such.

Take Care,

Steve

At least for now, Ted can get some seat time and racing experience in the karts. Also, You will be able to better judge how he is doing and if it will be something that he truly will enjoy.

Best Wishes!
