Remember, the Legends Car was designed to break easy to keep down agressive driving on asphalt.  Basically....same as  hot laps on dirt
Now if they give us a better tire, other areas need to be beefed up on the Legend to withstand impacts.  On a 3/8 mile dirt track we arer eaching speeds higher than the chassis was built for. Weren't they made to compete on 1/4 mile asphalt and we adapted them to road coarse and bigger dirt ovals ? LOL, no front hoop

I think a 13 inch street tire would be best.  As much as I would love to have more grip (along with a sprint car wing) but the street tires do last forever and equalize the field.  Also, with more grip on these tires we will see cars flipping even easier.

As far as US Legends making money on this deal, they would make a lot more if they put us on sticky tires that wear out after a couple of races.  More than a few tracks have made this mistake to get the tire revenue.
