If I could pick anything, I'd go with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta WRG2, but I don't think they make a 13".
Maybe the Yokohama Y379B ? Useable tread block, and cheap!
Really, anything with a standard tread block would be good...most snow tires are nice and soft...How about some Blizzaks?

Why not a Hoosier or American Racer?
Racing is a matter of spirit not strength

You see that?....That just happened!

I guess a 10 inch wide hoosier dirt tire for the right rear would be out of the question.

I was going with someone that already makes a 13" tire, so the tooling and start-up wouldnt be astronomical. The tires I listed could be off the shelf and on your car in the morning

I like the hoosier tire. It is already there and all we need to do is mount them up.

I would agree about the Hoosier tire or possibly an American Racer.

I think a hoosier tire as well they make multiple compounds so you dont necessarily have to worry about them being to soft and not lasting. Dont think US legends will go for that because they wont get money like they do off the current tires but i think a dirt race tire would be nice to have. Just my opinion though!

You are not allowed an opinion Joey  ;D
A dirt race tire would be great, but I dont see it happening. If they gave us what we wanted, then why couldnt the asphalt guys run race tires-slippery slope.
Then comes the nitrous... :o

^ nitrous? i already got that for this year, watch out! :)

I would be pleasantly surprised if they went to a Hoosier or American Racer tire but don't expect it.

These are what we ran in the last claass I ran.  Hoosiers are tubes with tread on them.  We ran RC1 and RC3 compounds and even the hard ones at the very least didn't hold air.  It wasn't a big deal, you get used to the car having flats after a few days once you get a few races on them.  I kind of like us running tires that don't grip the best, it's kind of an equalizer and it makes them fun to drive.  With my old class, I would have liked to see them go to a cheap spec tire but of course the local tracks wanted to see the 4 cyl class get faster and faster until we pretty much drove ourselves out of business.  The reason I switched to the legends car when I did was that I bought the car for about what I needed to sink into my 4cyl to freshen it up and get the car back up front.  I'm glad I did, because I like everything about this car better than the stock car.  Anyhow, just my 2 cents, heck I wouldn't care if they made us run the Federals, they might be good on a dry slick track. :)
