« on: February 19, 2010, 02:38:20 pm »
Can you run any oil? What is the best oil for these motors... I would think go-kart racing oil would be the best... How often do u change oil? Let me know what ya people think...

We have had excellent results with Mobil 1 5w20.  Be sure engine is thouroughly broken on on non-deturgent or normal oil before using any synthetic.  We use 28 oz (total including the filter) rather than the full quart.

I use Pennzoil 30weight. I use a little less than a full quart. It works fine for me but I don't know how much faster it is for the motor cause I used it in a old motor.

I'm using the Valvoline 5w20 synthetic in my Kart.
