Question for VMS Motorsports

Hey Jim, do the oil temp and oil pressure guages, on the VMS store website page ,do they come with the wiring and everything you need to install them?

Yes, both the Accutech and Stewart Warner gauges come ready to install. These are both mechanical gauges, so the only wiring will be to the gauge face backlight (which I personally dont hook up, it's bright enough at Beaver Dam and thats less lost electrical power)

Alright thanks i think im gunna order them. How many days do you think it would take till they get to me? I'm putting a nex wiring harness in so i thought i might as well put gauges in while I'm at it.

I've seen the temp gauge mounted in a few different places, mainly the pan or in the head. The pressure gauge is usually fed from the port in the oil pan, although I have seen people Tee them off the top end oiler.
You'd probably have them Tuesday.

OR...Run the psi from the center rear oil puck and run you return cooled filtered to the main oil galley.  The boss is just above the oil pan fitting on the left side of the case.  By returning oil to the motor here at the point of use, the mains, the oil is cooler then having to travel from the back of the motor to the mains.  I was told by a very good and well know builder, no names, that tis is a very good way.
