I hope they, 600, will have enough of the new tires in time.  Every year I get my cut BFGs about a week before the first race.  Now that ALL pavement guys will be ordering tires at the same time it should be something to watch.

Not sure you will be able to cut them but that is just a speculation.

Yea Vern that is what he said. he kind of eluded to that there might be no cutting but he didn't say it. He did talk about the grooving though.

Great, now we have to groove a tire, that will be tough to enforce.

That would make perfect sense considering the dirt racers are the red-headed step child of 600  ::)

Is the tread directional so that we will have to buy seperate left and right tires?  Any white letters we need to worry about mounting to the outside?

I was told by my dealer that they are direstional. but I dont know about white letters. IF you go to Federal Tire  wed cite I dont think that they make white letter tires.

Can you post a picture of the tread?  Just curious to see what we will have to work with.

The only Federal Tires i can find in a 205/60 R13 are these ones:

http://www.federaltire.com/en/html/pdetail.php?DB=touring&pdline=1&ID=17#

http://www.federaltire.com/en/html/pdetail.php?DB=touring&pdline=1&ID=19#

I wonder if either of those are the tire?
